This is definitely a DO!

Henry Allen Gold Piggy Bank, $190

Ever since I spotted Harry Allen's golden piggy bank in a feature about interior designer Rita Konig's apartment, in the now defunct but beloved Lucky Magazine, I have been obsessed with it. Despite many attempts to save enough pennies to buy said pig, the frugal side of me continually resisted the urge to fork over two "Benjamins" for it.

But alas, I discovered this super inspiring diy blog called P.S. - I Made This by Erica Domesek.  In her super easy and clever tutorial, she describes how to transform old boring items that you may have lying around in your house into metallic wonders worth drooling over. 

As soon as I find out where to buy metallic spray paint in NYC, I am so doing this! Get ready to see a plethora of before and after pictures.

Spring Renewal

I just redesigned my business cards and have a new website on the way as well. Stay tuned folks! Spring has sprung.

2.  Zoya's Amminah's nail polish - such a pretty basic color with a slight iridescence. It's so pretty and a change from winter's dark polishes. It certainly makes manicures at home quick and painless.

Holga how i love thee

I have a bad habit of not finishing a roll of film promptly and waiting to develop it years later. I finally developed the film in my Holga camera (there were only 12 shots but these photos are 1.5 years old) and these were the surprising results. Sometimes, it feels good to look back and not remember, where you were or what you were doing.

There are some really amazing color Holgas located at this Holga Flickr group.

I think it's time to take out the color film.
